Welcome, and thanks for visiting Runyan Cattle.  As you maneuver through this website you’ll notice a large amount of attention is placed on our successful cow families.  These cow families tell the story about our origin as a program.  Here, the matrons of our herd come from Angus females showed through junior programs, and acquisitions of other proven herds; notably many daughters from the infamous “Gleghorn 20” cow.  The cowherd at Runyan Cattle is selected to produce “top-shelf” quality steers and heifers that compete in the ring, while keeping in mind the maternal virtues of the next generation.
